YHWH's week-day names

1st day: Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day (*Gen 1:5)

☆ 2nd day: And Elohim called the firmament heavens. And there came to be evening and the morning, the second day (*Gen 1:8).

3rd day: And the earth brought forth grass, the plant that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good. And there came to be evening and the morning, the third day (*Gen 1:12-13)

☆ 4th day: And Elohim set them in the expanse of heavens to give light on earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good. And there came to be evening and the morning, the fourth day (*Gen 1:17-19).

5th day: And Elohim blesses them (every creature), saying, "Be fruitful and increase, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fifth day (*Gen 1:22-23)

☆ 6th day: And Elohim said, "Let Us make adam in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all creeping creatures that creep on the ground. And it came to be so. And Elohim saw all that He had made, and see, it was very good. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the sixth day (*Gen 1:26-31)

☆ 7th day: Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made (*Gen 2:1-3).

the World's pagan week-day names

Pagan Origin of the names of the days of the week

Do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations (*Deut 18:9/ Jer 10:2). Do not mention the names of other deities (*Ex 23:13).

Sunday: means 'dies solis' in Latin (day of the Sun or the day of God), also called 'Dominica.' Information: 'God' means 'the Sun divinity.' The first day of the week was named in honor of the Roman Sol deity. This was decreed by Emperor Flavius Constantine in 325 CE as the venerable day of the Sun divinity.

Monday: means 'dies lunae' in Latin, which translates to 'Moon's day.' The second day of the week was named in honor of the Roman Moon deity.

Tuesday: the third day of the week, was named after the Norse deity Tyr (Tyr's day). The Romans named it after their war deity Mars, 'dies Martis.

Wednesday: the fourth day of the week, was named after Wodan and is often referred to as 'Wodan's day.' The Romans named it 'dies Mercurii' after Mercury.

Thursday: the fifth day of the week, was named after the Norse deity Thor (Thor's day). The Romans named it 'dies Jovis' after Jupiter.

Friday: the sixth day of the week, was named in honor of the Norse female deity Frigg (Frigg's day). The Romans named it after their female deity Venus, calling it 'dies veneris.'

Saturday: means "dies Saturni" (Saturn's day). The seventh day of the week was named after Saturn, the Roman deity of agriculture and the father of Zeus (Ye-zeus). Additional info: Saturnalia. In the first century, the Romans had Saturday (Saturn's day) as their first day of the week. It was later changed to Sunday (Sun's day) in the 3rd century by Emperor Constantine.
