Sabbath is given to us in Heaven, and it will continue when we return to Heaven. Whoever profanes Sabbath, has no part in Heaven *Gen 2:1-3/*Isa 66:21-24
What to Wear at a Sabbath Gathering
The Sabbath Blessing
If you do turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day, and shall call the Sabbath 'a delight,' the set-apart day of YAHUWAH esteemed,' and shall esteem it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then shall delight yourself in YAHUWAH. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Yacob your father. For the mouth of YAHUWAH has spoken."YeshaYahu *Isa 58:13
The New Moon Festival
In this Congregation, every deed and practice in which we partake is channeled toward a single purpose: to please YAHUWAH of Righteousness. This is our foremost desire. For us, it is all about pleasing Elohim.
Our burning desire is to secure the Presence of YAHUWAH in our midst, as Moshe prayed and said, 'Let Your Presence go with us, but if Your Presence does not go with us, we will not leave this place.' In the same way, we desire the Most Qodesh Presence of YAHUWAH in our midst when we gather in His Name. And if His Presence does not come when we gather in His Name, we are merely wasting our time and energy worshiping in vain tradition. However, His Presence is secured among us when we call upon His Name and follow His commands (*Jh 15:10/ 14:15-24).
YAHUWAH of hosts is the Elohim of order, not an author of confusion and compromise. He abides where His commands are fully observed because YAHUWAH and His Words are one. And it is His will that every one of His children dress modestly, both in and out of the Congregation, because we are the temples of His Spirit. Moreover, we are the emissaries of His Kingdom and witnesses to His Name among the nations (Goyim). We must represent Him in reverent fear. And whoever draws near to worship YAHUWAH must be set apart, because YAHUWAH is set apart. And without separation (set apartness), no one could see Elohim.
Righteous Dress Code:
Our Abba in heaven did not leave us without instruction regarding how we should dress; He commanded in the Torah (*Deut 22:5) and said, "Woman shall not wear that which pertains to a man, nor does a man put on a woman's garment, for whoever does this is an abomination to YAHUWAH Elohim."
Sabbath Gathering:
During the gathering, all attire should be modest and appropriate for worship. This applies to men, women, and children alike.
Men:
Men should dress nicely and cleanly when coming to the Congregation on the 7th-day Feast, as if visiting their Maker. Attire should not be too casual, and excessive jewelry should be avoided as it can be distracting and draw unnecessary attention to oneself.
▪︎ Men should wear a suit, slacks, a jacket, and trousers — not shorts, long-sleeve shirts, or shirts with sleeves above the elbow
▪︎ Men should not wear sleeveless outfits or shorts when coming to the gathering, as such attire is considered inappropriate.
▪︎ Young men and boys should imitate their fathers and dress modestly in reverent fear of Elohim. Fathers should teach and guide their sons to honor Elohim in the way they dress, talk, and carry themselves as sons of the new earth to come.
Women:
▪︎ Women, both old and young, should dress modestly both inside and outside of the Congregation. Daughters of Elohim should dress in a pure and clean manner, setting their bodies apart for their Maker and their husbands; not for other people to see and desire.
▪︎ Women should wear modest dresses, not tight ones; skirts should be above the knees, and blouses should cover the collarbone.
▪︎ Females, whether young or old, should not wear trousers, nor should they wear revealing clothes that show cleavage. Sleeveless blouses, tank-top shirts, and mini skirts are not allowed in the gathering.
▪︎ Married women should wear head coverings during worship – a sign of covenant loyalty to their husbands, as this is pleasing to Elohim. There should be head coverings at the entrance of the congregation. If anyone forgets theirs, they could borrow one and it should be returned after fellowship. Your cooperation is appreciated.
