Followers of Yahoshea

Congregation

What we believe

1. The Father (Abba)

We hold to the strongest belief and unequivocally affirm that YAHUWAH is the Name of the one and only true Creator. It is the only Name He has given us to worship and adore, as it is done in heaven. His Name was recorded 7000 times in the Hebrew Scripture as four consonant letters "YHWH." However, during the translation of the Hebrew Scripture into the Bible, His Name was altered and replaced with 'The Lord or Baal' by the Goyim.

The Name of YAHUWAH is the most important aspect of our belief, as His Name represents and invokes His Presence. YHWH warned us not to use His Name in vain or to mention the names of other deities on our lips (*Ex 20:7/ Ex 23:13).

2. The Son (Messiah)

We believe in the Name of Yahoshea the Messiah, the Son of YAHUWAH the Creator. Yahoshea is the real Name and identity of the Hebrew Messiah and Savior. He embodies the resemblance of YAHUWAH in character, righteousness, and Name sake. Salvation comes through no other name besides Yahoshea.

Yahoshea came in the Name of the Father, bore the Name of the Father, and saves through the Name of His Father. Let no one deceive you with any other name, as we all know that the entire earth would be deceived through a false name (*Jh 5:43/*Act 4:12/ *Acts 2:21/ *Romans 10:13). Yahoshea means 'YAHUWAH salvation' or 'YAHUWAH saves through His Name.' (Yah'oshea: 'Yah' = YAHUWAH 'Oshea' = salvation).

3. The Qodesh Spirit

We believe in the Qodesh Spirit of YAHUWAH, known as "Ruach Ha Qodesh." He is our Guide, Comforter, and the revealer of hidden truth. He is the Bishop of the Assembly (*Acts 2:1-5).

4. Congregation

We, as believers, affirm that we are the temples of Elohim and the Body of Messiah. Additionally, we believe in the gathering of believers, but only through YHWH's prescribed Name of Yahoshea the Messiah (*Matt 18:20/ Hebrews 10:25). According to the Almighty, we, the elect, are never to congregate in any place except where YAHUWAH chooses to put His Name for His dwelling and gathering (*Deut 12:11/16: 2-11). And YAHUWAH is pleased to bestow His Name upon His Son, Yahoshea, so that we may gather through His Name. Yahoshea means YAHUWAH is salvation (*Matt 18:20).

5. Doctrine

the only doctrine acceptable in this Congregation is called 'It is written,' just as the Messiah, our Pastor, taught us (*Matt 4:4-10). We do not add nor remove from the commandments of YAHUWAH, our Abba (*Deut 4:2)

6. Head of the Body

Yahoshea the Messiah is the Head and the sole Pastor of His own flocks (Congregations) around the world. He will not share His Pastoral authority with anyone (*Jh 10:1-16). Just as YAHUWAH is the sole Father of the elects (*Matt 23:8-11), similarly, Yahoshea the Messiah is the only Pastor or Shepherd of His entire congregation. We are His brothers and the obedient sheep of His Word.

Division of His Body

Yahoshea the Messiah divided the roles of His Body among His members. He assigned some to the task of teaching,  while prohibiting them from being addressed as teachers or rabbis, as He alone assumes the role of the Tutor, with His members being exclusively students. For it is inappropriate to refer to a student as a teacher. Some students He gives the gift of pastoring, but not to be called Pastor. A Pastor means the Shepherd, the Authority, and the Way to the Father, which is the position of the Messiah. Others are assigned to prophesy, healing, and so on.

However, it is permissible to refer to other members as servants, brothers, or elders in faith. The highest-ranking individual in the Congregation is referred to as a servant. Within the New Covenant Assembly, it is prohibited to label any individual on earth as 'Pastor' aside from Yahoshea the Messiah, or to designate any individual as 'Father' aside from YAHUWAH the Almighty (*Matt 23:8-11)

7. Salvation

We believe that all are sinners from birth, and no amount of moral deeds would earn a person salvation except through Yahoshea the Messiah. For this reason, the Almighty YAHUWAH sent His only begotten Word-made-Flesh, Yahoshea Messiah (*Jh 1:1-14), having given Him His Name, so that whosoever receives His Name and believes in His message will be saved, provided they continue in their belief until the very end (*Ps 51:5/ Romans 3:23/ Jh 1:12). We further affirm that salvation is also possible through the unmerited mercy of YAHUWAH Almighty, achieved by repenting from sin, believing in Yahoshea's Name, immersing in water, and continuing in the faith.

8. Kohanim (Priesthood)

We believe that if a person is truly saved and converted (born again), he is a Kohen (priest) and a temple of Elohim. As kohanim and temples of YAHUWAH, we are obligated to follow the footsteps of the High Kohen, Yahoshea Hamashiach, abstaining from earthly material treasures, because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. YAHUWAH is our only treasure and inheritance, and He is more than enough for us. As citizens of Heaven, emissaries on earth, we are called to live as sojourners in this present earth, and by our fruit, we are known.

9. Tithe

In the Mosaic Covenant with Yisrael, the Almighty YAHUWAH instituted a ten percent tithe to provide the needs of His kohen (priests) and Levites, whom He set-apart among the people of Yisrael for His special service. The priests and Levites do not possess earthly inheritance because YHWH is their only inheritance. Therefore, YHWH provided them with His tithe for their provision. Additionally, the tithe was for the maintenance of the temple (*Num 18:19-21).

However, In the Renewed Covenant or Messianic Covenant, YHWH Almighty has ordained all born-again followers of Yahoshea as both kohen and His temples (*1 Peter 2:9/ 1 Corinth 6:19). The requirement for a ten percent tithe is no more, as all genuine believers are now regarded as both priests and the temples of Elohim. Priests do not pay tithes, as tithing was originally intended to support them and the temple. However, believers are required to give 100% dedication to Elohim's service – the Father's business – as it was left for us by Yahoshea, our Savior. Believers must devote their entire lives to full-time service, ministering, and advancing the Kingdom of YAHUWAH on earth.

Offering

Offering is a requirement. It is meant to take care of the Father's business, support struggling believers, and fund the work of the ministry. Additionally, offerings of the first fruits of significant acquisitions, such as having a new baby, a wedding, purchasing a new house or car, moving to a new apartment, or getting a new job, are also required. These offerings serve as a gesture of thanksgiving before Elohim.

10. Water immersion

We observe water immersion. However, we do not immerse children of an unaccountable age (1-11 years old). They must be at an age of full awareness of their actions and capable of being accountable for them. Water immersion is an absolute necessity in the Renew Covenant order.

11. Sabbath (7th day Feast)

We believe in observing the weekly 7th-day Sabbath, which commences at sundown on the evening of the 7th day of the week (secular Friday night), as a day begins at evening according to the Scripture.

The seventh-day Sabbath is a day of YHWH's salvation and rest, set apart by YHWH in Heaven as His special day. It was first observed by YHWH Himself and would continues in Paradise (*Gen 2:1-3/ Ex 20:8-11/ Isa 66:21-24)

The Sabbath is an everlasting covenant between YAHUWAH and His people. Anyone who profanes the Sabbath is cut off from among YHWH's people unless they repent. The Sabbath is a day of exuberant delight, a day of rest from physical and mental labor, and a day of spiritual refreshment and rejuvenation. Besides the Mark of the Name of YHWH stamped upon the foreheads of His elects (*Rev 13:16-18/ 14:1), the Sabbath also stands as a distinctive sign that establishes a connection and bond between YHWH and His elect (*Ex 31:12-17)

12. Scripture

We believe in the original Hebrew Scriptures. They are a collection of books written to honor the Name of YAHUWAH and to provide instructions (Torah) for righteous living leading to eternal life. We reject the false label given by the enemy, referring to the Scriptures as the 'Old Testament.' The Scriptures contain the Word of Elohim and are eternal (*Luke 4:16-21/*Matt 4:4/*Luke 10:25-28/*Luke 18:18-22/*Matt 5:17-18). We strongly reject any translation of Scripture or Epistles that does not testify to the heavenly Name of YAHUWAH and Yahoshea, His Son.

13. YAHUWAH's Feast

We celebrate YAHUWAH's three annual feasts, namely: Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks (Harvest), and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). Additionally, we observe the weekly Sabbath feast, the monthly New-Moon festival, the Feast of Trumpets, and the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). In total, there are seven festivals, not including Yom Kippur, because it is a day of general fast.

We completely abstain from participating in any pagan-rooted holidays of the Goyim (nations), such as Christmas, Easter, Lent, Halloween, birthdays, Mother Days, Valentine's Day and so on. This choice is based on the fact that our Abba, YHWH, did not command their observance (*Deut 12:28-31/ Deut 18:9/ Jer 10:1-4).

14. Set-apart Life
As children of YAHUWAH, we are held to a heavenly standard. However, we find ourselves in the presence of sin, which is defined as living outside YHWH's commands. Nevertheless, Elohim's unmerited mercy bears with us when we stumble unintentionally. We are called to abstain from all materialistic lifestyles, fleshly lusts, and behaviors that contradict the very nature of YAHUWAH; whose temples we are. He has given us a path to follow and His Spirit to strengthen and assist us in the journey of life, assembly for edification, and His precious Word as our guide to meditate upon day and night

Dress code

As citizens of heaven, we are held to a modest standard of dress, applicable to men, women, and children alike. YAHUWAH commands women not to wear pants, which are intended for men. Similarly, men are not to put on women's garments, such as skirts. Those who do so are considered an abomination to YAHUWAH Almighty (*Deut 22:5). We are not to conform to the ways of the world from which we were redeemed, but we are to be set apart in all ways, shining the light of Elohim who sets us apart for His pleasure. YAHUWAH also sets men apart to wear beards and tzitzit, as a remembrance to guard all His words

15. Word of Elohim

We held in great honor and admiration the Word of YAHUWAH as our only Constitution and authority. We believe that YAHUWAH and His Word are one. We also believe that Yahoshea our Savior, is the Word that proceeded out of the mouth of YAHUWAH. We do not add to or remove from the Word of the Scripture. Neither do we follow any doctrine that YAHUWAH did not explicitly command, as HE warned us not to do so. We are baruk to live by His commands — breath by breath, moment by moment, day in and day out.

16. Praising people

is strongly forbidding in this Congregation. There is One whom all praise and adoration are due: 'YAHUWAH the Most Adorable.'

17. Clean and Unclean Food

We believe that every believer must abstain from blood and consuming food containing blood. Anyone who consumes food with blood will be excommunicated from the Congregation, unless the person repents (*Lev 17:14/ Acts 15:20). We follow clean and unclean food ordinances (*Lev 11:1-47)

18. Marriage

We believe that the institution of marriage is intended to be between a male and a female. Interfaith marriage is prohibited. Do not become unequally yoked with unbelievers. What kind of partnership can there be between righteousness and lawlessness, light and darkness (*Deut 7:6/ 2 Corinth 6:14-18).

19. Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection and eternal judgment in the afterlife. The righteous, who lived by the commandments of YAHUWAH, will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. However, the cowardly, the unbelieving, the abominable, murderers, idolaters, and those who practice religion and falsehoods shall have their part in the lake of fire (*Rev 21).

20. Its all about YHWH

In this Congregation, the focus is entirely on YAHUWAH and what pleases Him. Any individual who has left the nations to return to worship YAHUWAH, the Eternal Creator, must completely empty themselves and forsake the old ways of Babylon (the religions of this world) and Egypt (the secular world) mindset.

As sheep, we humbly open ourselves to the correction of the Qodesh Spirit, seeking a deeper understanding of our Father's statues that we currently uphold.
