What is Sin?
It is important to note that Satan has deceived the entire world into believing that sin merely involves committing wrongful actions. Additionally, many people associate sin exclusively with immoral acts, such as lying, stealing, fornication, or causing harm to others. While these actions are indeed considered wrong in the eyes of the Almighty, however, they are merely symptoms of sin.
From YHWH's perspective, sin is living in violation of His commandments, whether out of ignorance or defiance of His Word (Lev 4:1-35). For instance, did you know that the violation of the Sabbath is considered a sin that can lead a person to hellfire? (*Ex 31:12-15). However, the challenge arises in how one can observe the Sabbath if they have never been made aware of it. It's important to acknowledge that many people will perish due to their lack of knowledge about what they should be aware of, as indicated in (*Hosea 4:6).
Humanity has been provided with a manual from the Creator, and that manual is the Scripture, which guides its students towards the path of eternal life. Whether you choose to read it or not, or whether you allow blind leaders to misinterpret its teachings, the consequences will be upon you on the Day of Judgment. No one would be allowed an excuse on that day.
For this reason, it's crucial to diligently study the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, as your eternal life hinges upon it, and your judgment will be based on its content. This takes precedence over both your health, education and your job and your family.
Who are Sinners?
Sinners are those who live outside the commandments of YHWH, whom the Scripture refers to as the Gentile nations, or the Goyim, the heathens, or the people of this world. YHWH warned His followers against learning the culture of the people of this world or going after their deities such as God or Baal ((*Ex 34:11-17/ Jer 10:2-5/ Jer 23:27/ Isa 65:11/ 2 Corinth 6:14-18).
YHWH considered people from every nation in this world, besides spiritual Israelites, as Gentile nations or outcasts or the spiritually dead because they operate outside of His commandments. Until an individual accepts His Word and His Name (Yahoshea), which is able to transform a person into a living soul, YHWH considers them as spiritually dead (*Luke 9:60/ Luke 15:24/ Ephesians 2:1).
The people of this world, with their religions, prioritize their customs and holidays above those of YHWH, the Creator. This is considered detestable in YHWH's sight. The wages of sin, which involves living outside YHWH's commandments, is eternal death. (Romans 6:23).
Men are created to live under the commandments of YHWH, not outside of them
Mankind and the hosts of heaven are created to live under the Word of YHWH their Creator. In turn, His commandments would secure our status as family of YHWH and citizens of Heaven. Violation of YHWH’s commandment separates us from Him and causes us to lose our heavenly citizenship and the right to be His children. This turns the offenders into Gentiles and citizens of this world rather than citizen of Heaven (*Jh 17:14-16).
The Kingdom of Heaven is built with the Word of YHWH; for this reason, it is resistant to disobedience. Mankind lost its salvation through disobedience, and it must be saved through obedience, as well as through the Name of Yahoshea the Messiah (*Jh 1:12).
*Hebrews 5:8-9
8 Though being a Son, He (the Messiah) learned obedience from what He suffered 9 and, having been perfected, He became the Source of eternal salvation for all those obeying Him.
The Penalty of Sin
The consequence of living outside the commandments of YHWH (sin) is eternal perdition. And the gift of YHWH is eternal life through Yahoshea, our Master (*Roman 6:23). So, if someone tries to persuade you to disobey the commandments of YHWH, upon which your salvation and eternal life depend, whether it's a family member or a friend, you can boldly say to them, 'Get behind me, Satan (*Matt 16:21-23). Because it is your life, your decision, your free choice, and your accountability on Judgment Day, no one else.
