The Feast of Unleavened Bread, known as 'Chag HaMatzot' in Hebrew, is a 7-day festival celebrated in the evening of Passover, occurring on the 15th day of the first New Moon.
The first and last days of the feast are considered Sabbath. This Feast commemorates the hasty departure of the Israelites from Mitzraim (Egypt), during which they had no time to allow their bread to rise.
