The Duty of a Renewed Covenant Kohenim (Priests)

Within the Congregation of YAH, when a man is born again, they assume the role of a Kohen—a minister to YAHUWAH, the Almighty. The head of all Kohen (priests) is Yahoshea Hamashiach—the High Kohen of YAHUWAH—in the order of Melchizedek.

The Almighty ordained all Kohen to submit to and follow Yahoshea the High Kohen, just as sheep follow the Shepherd. Every Kohen under the administrative leadership of Yahoshea Hamashiach has a definitive role in the Kingdom.

Note: A Kohen (priest) is not a pastor. ‘Pastor’ means ‘Shepherd,’ which is the administrative office of the Messiah. However, a Kohen means the one who ministers. The Messiah is the sole Pastor, and we are ministers (*MatitYahu 23:7-11).

YAHUWAH, the Elohim of order, is not an author of confusion, compromise, or assumption. Every principle and ordinance within the Congregation of His people stems from His directives, ensuring that no one makes strange offerings unto Him. YAHUWAH does not take pleasure in worthless offerings.

The worship of YAHUWAH Almighty is all about pleasing Him; doing what pleases Him. As the Messiah said, 'I am not here to do My desire, but the desire of My Father in heaven.' When we please Him by obeying His commands 1 Jh 5:1-5, in return, He will grant us the right to an everlasting bond with Him in Paradise.

To understand the duties of kohenim (priests), one must first understand YAHUWAH's original intention in creating Adam. Please note that "Adam" means "the earth or soil male" and it is not a name but a title, similar to "father." The Almighty created the first earth man, or Adam, for two specific purposes:

First, that Adam would become a son and have an exceptional relationship Him. And through Adam, YAHUWAH would secure righteous sons from the Earth who have been tried and proven faithful. Those who, through their choices, abandon all disobedience and the cares of life to follow the ways of YAHUWAH, their Maker.

Note: YAHUWAH foreknew that Adam would fall from the Garden of Eden and be expelled to the Earth. Through Adam, two sons would come to represent the two races on Earth: (Cain, the first son of Adam, represents the unrighteous race), while (Abel represents the righteous race).

Secondly, YAHUWAH also created Adam to be a High Kohen—a superior minister—above all the hosts of Heaven.

These were the two reasons YAHUWAH Almighty created Adam or the earth men: to be sons and kohanim {ministers} unto Him.

However, due to Adam's failure to obey the command of YAHUWAH, his Father, and yielding to his wife's manipulation and lust, sin entered the Earth. From that moment, there was no place found for them in Paradise, because their citizenship thereupon was vested in the Word of YAHUWAH, which they violated, becoming lawless and defiled. Therefore, they were expelled to the Earth for 7 eternal days or 7000 years.

Upon arriving on Earth and having two sons—Cain and Abel; one being wicked and lawless and the other righteous and lawful—YAHUWAH divided the people of the Earth into two races:

Cain= presents the unrighteous race, also known as Goyim or Gentiles nations, sinners, the disobedient and perverse race, who live outside the commandments of YHWH, their Maker.

Abel= presents the righteous race, also known Israelites, the elect, and the obedient race—those who submit to the will of Elohim and serves Him wholeheartedly, in spirit and truth.

Note: Not natural-born Israelites are accepted before YHWH, but also those who honestly serve Him in spirit and truth, keeping and delighting in His commandments wholeheartedly. After all, Esau and Yacob stem from the loin of Isaac, yet Yacob was chosen while Esau was rejected (Romans 9:13).

"Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations. Ask your father and let him show you; your elders, and let them say to you: "When The Most High gave the nations (Cain's Gentile race) their inheritance. When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Elohim. For the portion of YAHUWAH is His people, Yacob (Abel's righteous race) His allotted inheritance" (*Deut 32:7-9).

Additionally, as a result of Adam's disobedience, the entire world system, under Cain's 7000 years Gentile reign, turned hostile towards YAHUWAH, their Creator, because they opted to live rebelliously rather than following YAHUWAH’s prescribed way and Torah. Thus, it was written "Friendship with the world is enmity with Elohim. Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of Elohim" (*James 4:4).

Hence, a necessity arose for a second Adam, known as Yahoshea Hamashiach, to replaced the first Adam in the order of creation; becoming the first Son of Elohim and the High Kohen of the Kingdom of Heaven.

,

Hence, YAHUWAH the Almighty sent Yahoshea the Messiah, His Son, to rescue the elect from the hostile system of this world (Cain's realm) and convert them into royal kohanim (priests), granting them the authority to become the sons of Elohim. For this reason, it is written, "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him; believing in His Name, to them He gave the authority to become the sons of Elohim" (*Jh 1:11/ Jh 17:14-17).

Confirmed in the Book of Peter, saying, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal kohanim (priesthood), a set-apart nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"(*1 Peter 2:9/ Deut 7:6).

Yahoshea, the High Kohen and the first Son of YAHUWAH, came to secure sons for Elohim, converting them into kohanim. This was YAHUWAH's original intention in creating Adam (the people of the earth): for them to become sons and priests unto Him.

YHWH willed all to become sons and priests unto Him

Now, this is the complete duty of all men living on Earth, and by this standard, YAHUWAH will judge all on the last day—both the malakhim and the people of the earth alike:

YAHUWAH Eternal created all men on Earth and willed them to be royal kohanim (priests) and sons to Him - bearing His Name. Legitimate sons bear the name of their father. For this reason, it is written, 'My people who are called by My Name' *2 Chro 7:4 Also, "They shall see My Face, and My Name will be in their foreheads" Rev 22:4.

Furthermore, Eternal YAHUWAH created females to be helpers to the priests, companions, and nurturing wives.

The requirement of sonship and priesthood applies to all the ministers of Heaven: chief malakhim, cherubim, seraphim, ophanim, malakhim, powers, and principalities. Moreover, it applies to all men on earth, to minister unto YAHUWAH continually as kohanim forever. For this reason, we are given the authority through the Messiah to become the sons of Elohim upon receiving His Name and His message.

Due to Adam's failure, husbands are to minister unto YAHUWAH through the Messiah. Additionally, owing to Havah's (Eve) greed and weak will, wives are to minister unto YAHUWAH through their husbands, and children through their parents.

The hosts of Heaven who did not meet this requirement - to minister unto YAHUWAH continually in absolute obedience as makahim and ministers - were cast out of Heaven and turned into darkness. Similarly, all men on Earth who does not fulfill the same righteous requirement will face the equivalent consequence, but on the last day. There is one requirement for both the malakhim in Heaven and the people on Earth.

The knowledge of ministering to Elohim accordingly, is given to the elect, not to Gentiles and religious

Yahoshea Messiah said to His students (followers), "To you, it is given to know the secrets of the knowledge of the Kingdom of Heaven, but not to them (the religious folks and Gentiles)" *Matt 13:11-15.

"The secret was hidden to the wise and the educated, but revealed to little children {lowly people}. Yes, Father, for this is Your good pleasure" *Luke 10:21.

The Four Square Ministerial Roles of Malakhim and the Born-Again Kohen

1. Obedience to His Word: we are called and willed to minister unto YAHUWAH by living wholeheartedly according to His commands, engaging in communion with His Word, and safeguarding all His commandments written in the Scripture from contamination by false doctrines, mistranslation, additions or omissions.

2. Protect, Honor & bear His Name: we are called and willed to minister unto Elohim by guarding His personal Name, 'YAHUWAH,' from being profaned or used lightly. His Name invokes His Spirit, Presence, and power. No one should use His Name in vain nor call upon any other name in our midst.

3. Worship: we are called and compelled to minister unto YAHUWAH through praises and continual baruk (blessings) of His Name in worship and prayer; in fasting and prostration; acknowledging Him as the sole Provider and Sustainer of all creation.

4. Set-Apart Messengers:  we are called and chosen to minister to YAHUWAH by setting ourselves apart from the world and its religions. Moreover, we are to become His messengers of good news to the nations, just as Pastor Yahoshea Hamashiach taught us, guiding others to salvation and bringing the influence of Heaven to Earth as emissaries.

The Two Periods of Daily Prostration and Worship

Kohanim (priests) are to gather to prostrate and worship before the Name YAHUWAH at two divisions of the day: after sunset and in the morning; to make sweet offerings to YHWH, and also to thank and acknowledge Him as the power which sustains and regulates the heavens and the universe.

1. Evening: after Sunset- marking the beginning of a new day

2. Morning: waking up in the morning or at sunrise {b/w 5:00 am to 10:00 am}

Daily, every kohen must bring an offering made through the fire of the Spirit before YAHUWAH, at each period

A kohen's temple (body) is a place of continuous offering of praise and worship, and the Almighty willed a perpetual fire and ascending offering to burn continuously within the temple of all priests; never to be extinguished.

Furthermore, any moment in a priest's life that isn't entirely (100%) dedicated to the service of Elohim marks the inception of that priest's deviation from the path of righteousness
